In our modern times, we often eat more than our appetite. Unfortunately, our parents used to make sure that we had to eat more than our fill. We can recall memories as mothers forcefully stuffed food in our mouths without realizing that we ate more than a nutrient requirement. So, this has been inculcated from the start that eating more than appetite would be better for growth.

Diseases related from heart to diabetes, arthritis to asthma, oversleeping to insomnia, and depression and anxiety in some way or other link with obesity.
Eating less may have a dramatic change in life. This embarks you to a healthy lifestyle. When one gets slim after losing weight, they easily walk and perform their daily bases work without feeling boredom. Undoubtedly, there is a sense of agility when you walk around and do your chores.
Seriously, we are killing ourselves using eating unmindful habits. Our digestive system also needs rest. Our digestive system is like a factory worker whose efficiency increases when he comes to work after a weekly holiday. The productivity of work increases as the worker comes to work with a healthy mind and body. So, in the same way, our digestive system gets energized when it is unburdened from digesting volumes of food. You can understand that all body organs get rest when we eat sensibly with minimum quantity.
As scientific studies have proved, eating less also can defend against age-related diseases. Moreover, it has also been observed that aged people generally complain about constipation problems. The limited production of digestive juices and dehydration causes indigestion. By taking a minimum healthy diet and increasing their water intake, older people can improve their digestion.
Of course, the benefits of eating less are not limited to obese or aged people. People of all ages can improve their quality of life. Eating less can delay the aging process. You can look younger than your age. Our body clock also functions better as, biologically, our body needs energy during day time. So, when our digestion works properly, we get active during the day and sleep well at night.
